I couldn't be more excited to be heading out on the road. In just two weeks I'll be all packed up and ready to head out in the morning.
My journey is going to take me thru 11 states in 9 days. I'll see prairies, mountains, and deserts; snow and steam; the best mid-America has to offer.
It will be me, a rental car, one bag of stuff, a case of water, and a credit card. Oh, and my music, of course.
I'm going to stop where ever I want. Flea markets, tourist traps, greasy spoons, and nice hotels.
Along the way I'll find laughter, boredom, and hopefully myself.
And hopefully, this will quench my wanderlust.....
.....for a while.
